in Jewish Education and Administration from Gratz College and a B.A. Sahar has spent 20 years in the Jewish arts, culture, and education arenas and earned an M.A. He works closely with our clergy, staff, Board, and Committees, and oversees synagogue operations. Sahar had been our Director of Education since July 2012 and was promoted to Executive Director in June 2020. Guided by Rabbi Nathan Kamesar, our executive team – including professional staff and members elected to leadership positions – and office and custodial staff help us improve our facilities, strengthen our programs, and meet the challenges of 21st century Judaism.
